Terms of Reference – SCOPE OF WORK

I. Translation

Translate all kinds of content to priority languages of Manila FAME with a minimum total word count of 15,000 words or with a total value of PhP 150,000.00, consumable within one year. The priority languages include, but not limited to:

A.  EAST ASIA & SOUTH ASIA 

     e.g : Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. 

B.  ASEAN

     e.g : Malay, Bahasa, Thai, etc. 

C. EUROPE 

     e.g. French, German, Italian, Portuguese etc.

D. AMERICAS, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA

     e.g. Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, etc.

I.              Translation

Translate all kinds of content – for both print and online - to priority languages of Manila FAME with a maximum total word count of 25,000. Below are the priority languages:

A.    Japanese

B.    Chinese

C.   Korean

D.   Bahasa

E.    Thai

F.    French

G.   German

H.   Italian

I.      Spanish

J.     Arabic

K.    Russian

I.      Formatting and Editing – undertake necessary edits or revisions to the translated contents, as deemed necessary by the project team.

II.    Project management – assign a specific personnel/ project manager who shall be the point person to attend to all CITEM-related content/concerns. 

III.   Certification – submit a Certificate of True Translation for every material or document being translated

Terms of Reference – TIMELINE

The period of engagement shall commence in February 2019 and will be in effect until 31 December 2019, or until the word-count balance indicated in the scope of work is fully consumed by CITEM, whichever comes first.

Terms of Reference – QUALIFICATIONS

1.  Must be a professional translation and language / communication company with capability to translate /localize contents to at least 60 major languages across the world;

2.  Must be able to provide certified translation with 100% accuracy;

With experience in providing service to a minimum of 5 major businesses and/or brands, both local and international.

The lowest calculated bid with most number of word count within the earmarked budget wins. 

1. Must be a professional translation and language / communication company with capability to translate /localize contents to at least 60 major languages across the world, including all the priority languages identified in the scope of work;

2. Must be able to provide certified translation with 100% accuracy; and

3. With experience in providing service to a minimum of 5 multinational companies, 5 reputable local or international companies, 1 university, and 1 government agency.

The lowest calculated bid for the translation of the required word count of 25,000 to all priority languages identified wins.

Terms of Reference – BUDGET AND PAYMENT TERMS

Total budgetary requirement is PhP 150,000.00 (inclusive of all applicable taxes), to be sourced from Manila FAME April 2019 Funds and shall be paid based on the following schedule:

·     15 % - up to 15 days upon signing of contract; and

·    Actual consumption – up to 15 days upon submission of billing/statement of account every three months thereafter

Total budgetary requirement is PhP 150,000.00 (inclusive of all applicable taxes), to be sourced from Manila FAME April 2019 Funds. This shall be paid based on actual consumption priced at P6.00 per word across all languages or lower based on the bid of winner, to be paid in several tranches within 15 days upon submission of billing/statement of account every three months until the required wordcount of 25,000 is consumed or until the end of contract on 31 December 2019, whichever comes first
