PUBLIC ADVISORY: Beware of Unauthorized Solicitation and Monetary Requests

CITEM advises all suppliers, service providers, and partners to remain vigilant against unauthorized individuals or groups falsely claiming to represent CITEM or IFEX Philippines for the purpose of soliciting donations, sponsorships, financial assistance, or other monetary requests through calls, SMS/text messages, emails, or social media platforms.

Please be reminded of the following:

Verify the Sender. Official communications from CITEM and IFEX Philippines are sent only through verified official channels and corporate email domains, including @citem.com.ph.

Do Not Send Payments or Donations Through Unverified Channels. CITEM does not authorize any individual, third-party entity, or unofficial representative to request donations, financial contributions, sponsorship payments, or any form of monetary assistance on behalf of CITEM or IFEX Philippines through personal accounts or unverified communication channels.

Exercise Caution Against Suspicious Communications. Be cautious of messages or calls using urgency, pressure tactics, unofficial contact details, or requests for direct fund transfers, e-wallet payments, or personal banking information.

Report Suspicious Activity. If you receive suspicious communications claiming to be connected with CITEM or IFEX Philippines, please refrain from engaging and immediately verify the matter with your official project focal point or through CITEM’s official communication channels.
